Inspired by volcanic glaciers, this 15-inch (31cm) vessel is handcrafted by me, Ruth Pike.
 
Using a combination of clays (black, white, terracotta, and speckled clay), I have created a vessel with a textural exterior, complemented by orange, red, and blue-green slips, Oxides, and glazes.
 
The interior is fully glazed, making it watertight.
 
My vessels are fired to stoneware temperatures, making them suitable for in or outdoor use.
